Bulgary has been classified by the World Bank, as an upper middle income economy. Most of its development, between 1998 and 2006 has been due to the foreign investments. The agriculture is mostly developed in the expansion of cereals like wheat, corn, rice, barley and rye. The industrial faming are cotton, sunflower and snuff, which represent a more profitable part of the agriculture organization. In the industry, the most important is the iron and steel industry, and then we can find the chemical products as well as the textile industry. The problem of Bulgary is that this country does not have an important reserve of oil; this trouble makes Bulgary more dependent from the rest of the world. The energy industry is based on the deposit of coal and lignite which keep the old industries working; in a less portion we can find a little development of hydraulic energy.
Sofia is the capital of Bulgary, and it is certainly a place that must be visited by the tourists that arrive to this marvelous country. In the other hand there is Varna, the largest city located on the Bulgarian black coast. It provides the tourist a lot of historical attraction, because it is a millennial city. Many centuries ago, this was an important roman regional centre, because of this; the city offers more than 150 cultural and historical monuments of different historical periods.
